Our client offers a wide range of mechanical services, from domestic heating and plumbing installations to large commercial plant rooms and everything in between.What started out as a small team of two engineers, the company have expanded and have quickly embedded themselves into M&E world and now boasts a team of 48 and rapidly growing whilst providing excellent service, and quality of workmanship.The role will involve responsibility for ensuring departments are compliant with respect to all our industry obligations, accreditations and internal processes. You will be responsible for monitoring industry change and ensuring relevant changes are actioned.Key responsibilitiesPossess comprehensive technical skills along with extensive experience in commercial fault finding and rectification.Comprehensive knowledge of both domestic and commercial systems.Good all round knowledge of heating systems, fixed electrical systems & controls/BMS.Good plumbing skills.Good interpersonal & communicating skills, flexible approach to work/Clients requirements. Be prepared to work out of hours from time to time and participate in the callout rota. Good organisational skills and have a positive attitude.A good knowledge of all building servicesSound level of administration and organisational skillsMinimum 2 years practical experience within the building industry.Possess comprehensive technical skills along with extensive experience in commercial fault finding and rectification.Comprehensive knowledge, both domestic and commercial of most major manufactures such as Valliant, Powermatic, Riello, Combat, Ambi-Rad, Ideal, Potterton, Nu Way, ATAG and Worcester etc.The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role working within retail and leisure (but not essential) contracts carrying out a range of duties including installs and the following: EssentialGas qualifications in:- Comb analysis, gas boilers under and over 70kw, pipework, warm air, gas fires, range cookers, air heating, water CH, commercial and domestic gas qualifications.Excellent gas knowledge complete with an industry recognised qualificationCOCN1 or CODNCO1 (Core Commercial Gas Safety)CDGA1 (Commercial Direct Fired Heating Appliances)CIGA1 (Commercial Indirect Fire Heating Appliances and Equipment)CORT1 (Commercial Radiant Tube Heaters)ICPN1 (First Fix Commercial Pipework)TPCP1 (Tightness Testing and Purging to IGE/UP/1)TPCP1A (Tightness Testing and Purging to IGE/UP/1A)CCN1 or COCDN1 (Core Domestic Gas SafetyCENWAT (Domestic Central Heating/Water Heaters)CPA1 (Combustion Performance Analyser)DesirableHealth and Safety qualificationsTime served apprenticeshipIn return, my client is looking to offer a competitive salary between £47K - £50K including the following benefits: Excellent progression, training, and development opportunitiesCompany Vehicle Health Insurance 30 days holiday (including bank holidays) Contributory pension scheme Tablet/Phone supplied Overtime available & Much more For more information, please contact Ed on (phone number removed) or apply with your current CV to prompt a call back.
