As a senior programmer on this team, you'll be pushing the envelope for customization and player choice across the Fortnite ecosystem - from characters to cars to entirely new experiences.In this role, you willArchitect, plan, and implement new game systems while optimizing and fixing bugs in existing systemsBe a team player, learning with your peers and improving process as you goBuild relationships with adjacent teams including art, performance, animation tech, and automationSupport technical excellence of a live service game across multiple platformsWrite robust, maintainable code with extensibility in mindAdvocate for the player experience, preserving and enhancing the library of cosmetics players have acquiredWhat we're looking forStrong C++ programming skillsExperience designing and building robust systemsA passion for games with a willingness to focus on visual but gameplay-adjacent areasInitiative, strong work ethic, and ability to work independentlyExcellent communication skills to work within a geographically distributed team and reach across team boundariesUnreal Engine development experience preferred but not requiredThis role is open to multiple locations across North America and Europe (including CA & WA).Pay Transparency InformationThe expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience.
