We’re looking for a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team.
Invision360 develop software to ensure positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people, through digital solutions. Requirements
5 years of industry experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer or similar role
Experience developing responsive web apps for both desktop and mobile
Experience working with modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience working with Node.js
Deep understanding of databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Broad familiarity of web servers (e.g. NGINX)
Extensive experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS)
Experience writing unit tests and feature tests
Experience with agile development (Scrum)
Experience working on a remote team
Fluent in written and spoken English
Responsibilities Include
Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
Design client-side and server-side architecture
Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
Write effective APIs
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Create security and data protection settings
Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
Write technical documentation
Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software
