As the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you'll join the collaborative Financial Strategy and Planning team and work closely with the Partnerships and Science and Engineering directorates. This is a fixed term contract role up to 15 months.
What you'll be doing:
Working closely with directorates to communicate how they’re performing and how they can improve.
Working with the partnerships team on evaluating business cases to support their bids for projects
Support in preparing the quarterly business review, continually challenging the quality and integrity of the data and flagging any areas of concern, as well as solutions.
A focus on developing and improving the existing forecasting process, and quarterly business reviews.
involvement infinancial modelling and process improvement to drive reporting quality, efficiency, and insight.
We are now working in a hybrid way, with a mix of remote and office working. In this role you can expect to be on site minimum 2 days per week.We strive to offer a great work life balance - if you are looking for full time, part time or flexible options, we will try to make this work where business possible. What you can bring to the role:
Newly qualified account with commercial finance experience
Accounting Qualification, for example - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, ability to create macros and build financial models
Excellent communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
