Senior FP&A Accountant

A global Insurance leader with a top tier presence in the London Market is looking for an Senior FP&A Accountant TO lead and manage the analysis and reporting of the IFRS 17 group result and to explain the Group's performance on an IFRS17 basis.Key Responsibilities:Prepare IFRS17 analysis and provide explanation for internal and external IFRS17 reporting.Understand and report on the key drivers of the IFRS4 to IFRS17 reconciliations for both the Income Statement and Balance SheetPresent the IFRS17 result to various internal bodies.Prepare any regulatory submissions (UK and overseas) on an IFRS17 basis that may be required from time to time.Prepare any entity-specific IFRS17 analysis and explanations that may be required from time to timeMonitoring financial performance against identified benchmarks.Involvement in ad hoc projects where necessary, including leading them where appropriate.Management and development of expense MI (monthly /quarterly) for inclusion in materials for Boards, executive management, committees and parent companyThe successful candidate for this Senior FP&&A Accountant role will need to be a qualified Accountant with Insurance market background, preferably Lloyd's. Strong communication skills essential. Prior IFRS 17 experience is required.
