We are currently looking for a Senior Formulation Scientist - Biologics to join a leading CDMO based in South East England. As the Senior Formulation Scientist - Biologics you will be responsible for supplying formulations to support ongoing projects at all stages of the antibody development process, from toxicology studies to Phase 3 Clinical studies.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior Formulation Scientist - Biologics will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Senior Scientist is Formulation, you will be responsible for advancing NBE drug products from preclinical evaluation to market application.
2. You will also be responsible for deigning and executing studies to identify formulation components as well as being a subject matter expert on in the physiochemical properties and formulation strategies of monoclonal antibodies.
3. As the Senior Formulation Scientist, you will assess and share the results of the technical evaluations.
4. You will also have an awareness of the technical advancements in the industry, and generate quality documentation to ensure inspection readiness for inspections by regulatory agencies.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Formulation Scientist - Biologics we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. A Masters degree or PhD (or equivalent) in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology or a similar discipline.
2. You must have strong biologics liquid formulation experience and analytical experience for proteins / antibodies.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience in automation and strong statistical knowledge.
