DescriptionSenior Formulation and Development ChemistLocation – CoventryOur client is an established contract manufacturing organisation (CMO) providing services on a global scale. As a fully regulatory compliance facility, they are able to provide technical innovation supporting with the formulation and development of novel cleaning products across many sectors.An opportunity has now become available for an experience Formulation and Development Chemist to join the company and lead new product development projects.Core responsibilities will include:Taking ownership of NPD (new product development) projects, providing commercial solutions and ensuring successful programme delivery.Manage a small team of chemists to support project deliveryUtilise formulation and product development knowledge to deliver on commercial briefsLead in the identification and sourcing of novel ingredients to facilitate product developmentWork closely with regulatory and quality teams to ensure product compliance.Support with development of analytical methodsSuitable applicants:Experienced Chemist with strong technical background in formulation and development, ideally within cleaning products/hygiene products/biocidesGood industry knowledge gained through relevant chemical industry experiencePrior experience leading NPD projects and offering innovative solutions for project deliveryKnowledge of chemical-related regulationsEducated to a minimum of BSc in a Chemistry discipline (or equivalent experience)Package:Our client offers the opportunity to join the company on a permanent basis with a competitive salary, reflective of experience.I'm interested in this jobPlease use the form provided to get in touch with us and we will respond as soon as possible.Compulsory fields are in bold.
