Senior Food Technologist

Senior Food Technologist, preferably with experience in a Food Science Laboratory is required for a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract with the opportunity of being extended.

Based in Reading the ideal candidate will have a relevant science degree qualification and have experience working in a laboratory.� Wearing PPE is mandatory and SOPs must be followed to ensure a safe environment for all team members so experience of this is essential.� HACCP is also essential.

Applicants must have a passion for all things relating to food, from ingredients to finished product and the role requires the Food Technologist to follow SOPs to make finished sample products which could be anything from a bar of chocolate to powdered beverages.� This is a New Product Development position working within a busy Ingredient Research Innovation Space.
