Senior Fire EngineerBasic Salary £50,000 - £55,000Company van, fuel card, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension paid at 5%Key ResponsibilitiesFire alarm installation, preventative maintenance, reactive and commissioning worksThe Senior Fire Alarm Engineer will be able to deliver fire engineering projects and services operating as technical lead and/or project manager, assuming responsibility for setting and meeting deadlines and keeping track of their financial performance and budgetsThe Senior Fire Alarm Engineer will be able to develop fire strategy designs utilising a mixture of compliance and performance-based approaches within a wide range of sectors such as residential, commercial, heritage, sports grounds, healthcare, etc.The Senior Fire Alarm Engineer will be developing fire engineering solutions on projects and ensuring the fire engineering strategy is delivered.The Senior Fire Alarm Engineer will be able to identify design related issues and propose solutions as appropriateThe Senior Fire Alarm Engineer will be able to produce engineering designs, calculations and specifications using appropriate softwareThe Senior Fire Alarm Engineer will be customer and end-user-centric and cultivate that philosophy within the team.The Senior Fire Alarm Engineer will be able to undertake onsite inspections and conduct inspections to ensure quality assurance of installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarmsThe Senior Fire Alarm Engineer will be able to be an on-site liaison with an NSI auditorThe Senior Fire Alarm Engineer will be able to support the development of less experienced team members and check their work by technical standards and sore operational proceduresThe Senior Fire Alarm Engineer will be able to prepare reports, take part in design team meetings, and liaise with key stakeholders (internal and external)Keep up to date with new technologies and innovations in fire engineering and brief the team where relevant.Attend and make a positive contribution to meetings, both internally and externally, and help our clients to continually improve.Identify new working practices beneficial to the business.Work closely with colleagues and support fire engineers at all levels,providing technical direction, oversight and mentorship.Contribute to our in-house training scheme and support apprentices and junior engineers with their fire training.Offer remote technical support to customers and engineers.Key Experiences and Qualifications:
* At least 5 years of experience within the fire and security industry
* FIA: Advanced Installer Qualification
* FIA: Advanced Commissioning
* FIA: Advanced Maintainer
* FIA: Advanced Designer
* FIA: Servicing & Maintenance of Portable Fire Extinguishers
* Driving license (max 6 points)In return, our client will provide the following package
* Basic salary of £50,000 - £55,000
