JOB SUMMARYThe Senior Financial Analyst FP&A is responsible for all finance support of Progress Residential Expense management, with a focus on non-compensation expense budgeting, forecasting, and reportingESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSOwn all financial budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for Non-Compensation expenses (Fleet, Legal, Technology, etc.)Partner with CTO to develop vendor-level expense reporting and forecasting, providingPartner with COO to develop Fleet expense targets for team members working in the fieldPartner with CFO to develop Non-Compensation targets and work with business partners to drive results that ensure the targets are achievedAutomate expense reporting and drive efficiencies into reporting and budgeting processesLead monthly non-compensation expense review process with VP of FP&AProvide commentary for financial performance versus budget and forecastThis role will be the Administrator for the Progress Residential financial system (Prophix) and provide assistance to all finance partners in building new reporting and ensuring financials in Prophix system are accurateQUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics2-5 years of total experience in a Finance or Accounting rolePossesses excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to articulate contextExperience with Hyperion Planning, Oracle, Prophix, or other financial systems softwareAbility to effectively communicate financial results to Senior Leaders and non-finance team members to synthesize financial data and develop storylines around financial performanceAbility to drive automation in financial processesAbility to drive results with cross-functional partners to obtain financial commitmentsSelf-starter with inquisitive mind to dig into financial results and understand performanceStrong organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables simultaneouslyExperience in Tableau, Looker, or other dashboard-related softwareStrong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint abilitiesWhat you can expect from us:Progress Residential offers all the financial and non-financial incentives you would expect from an innovative real estate investment and management firm:In addition to outstanding training, we host quarterly summits and town hall meetings to encourage growth, knowledge sharing and a good time.
