The Role
THIS ROLE IS BASED IN THE GUILDFORD BRANCH OF THIS WEALTH MANAGEMENT FIRM.
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Planning Administrator / Wealth Planning Assistant able to provide a high level of administrative support to the Wealth Planning Team.
The Senior Financial Planning Administrator / Wealth Planning Assistant will assist the Administration Manager, Planners and Paraplanners , undertake financial reconciliations and reporting tasks, and provide training and mentorship to less experienced members of the team.
The Senior Financial Planning Administrator / Wealth Planning Assistant will be responsible for client data input and client record maintenance.
The Senior Financial Planning Administrator / Wealth Planning Assistant will maintain a daily activity diary and maintain it’s database to include supervisor access, fund updates, template set up.
The Senior Financial Planning Administrator will follow up on information requests to life /investment companies and will issue LOA’s to providers and request information.
The Senior Financial Planning Administrator will provide a summary of information in template format for Paraplanners to prepare recommendation reports and will be a liaison with clients and life companies.
The Senior Financial Planning Administrator will produce valuations from, arrange stock transfers, and submit and process new business adhering to compliance requirements.
The Candidate
2-3 years solid experience in financial planning administration with an understanding of financial product providers, types of wealth planning products and technical knowledge of financial services products
Wealth planning market awareness - essential
Good telephone manner and able to communicate confidently
Knowledge of Voyant, Xplan - advantageous
