Senior Financial Controller - Reporting

Location: Warwick

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to �95,000 + bonus + company car or cash alternative

In this role, you will lead our controllership arm, ensuring the delivery of accurate and complete outputs while establishing strong connections with our business service function.

Based in our Warwick office, we encourage you to be present 2-3 days per week, while offering flexibility to suit your needs. We value open discussions on additional working patterns or requirements that would enable you to thrive in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership and lead the Business Unit Financial Reporting, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and related interim and year-end disclosures.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and completeness of actuals for both ET and SI, providing insightful narratives on key financial and Business Unit reports.
  • Support finance and business change initiatives, driving long-term business capability improvements.
  • Drive continuous process improvement through the implementation of best practises and external/internal references.
  • Collaborate with regulatory and finance teams to deliver timely and high-quality financial inputs.
  • Act as a key point of contact, advising and facilitating discussions between executive leaders, business, and finance teams.
  • Guide the output of EBS teams to align with controllership requirements.
  • Define and execute financial controls, supporting control roadmap and remediation efforts.
  • Ensure efficient cost allocations in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare necessary papers for audit committees and boards, summarising accounting and technical information.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in SOX controls and financial reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to manage workload and lead teams.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Industry experience preferred.
