Our studio is situated in a river-front building in the heart of the Historic Dockyard in Chatham, Kent, UK. We are growing fast, developing our games using cutting-edge technology and delivering these on multiple platforms: PC, PlayStation 4 and 5 and Xbox One and Series S/X
As part of a high-performing finance team within a successful computer games developer and publisher, the Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in the efficient operation and growth of our business.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst will work as part of a finance team of 6 people to deliver our monthly reporting cycle, budgets, business plans etc and support strong financial management of our business and drive efficiencies using technology and specialist knowledge.
Preferably this role will require one day a week in office with the Finance team.Main Responsibilities
Forecasting and working on the budget process including updating the budget modelLiasing with budget holders regularly and sharing budget trackers. Providing analysis and feedback on performance vs budgetOwning capitalisation of development costs including maintaining the intangible asset register and posting relevant journalsResponsible for updating the headcount model, posting payroll journals and providing analysis. Liasing with the recruitment team regarding roles within hiring budgetPreparing monthly management accounts and reporting in a timely and efficient mannerAssist with preparing the monthly Finance Board report and cost analysisProviding relevant information for the year-end audit fileAd hoc requests, strategic projects and tasks

Relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar)Excellent proficiency in Microsoft ExcelPrevious forecasting and budgeting experienceStrong technical accounting skills and operational experienceHigh level of attention to detailFlexible attitudeGood communication skillsFamiliarity with Xero and SAP accounting systems are an advantage
