Join us in our mission to transform the power of diagnostics into a healthier future for all.Senior Financial AnalystWe are recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst, to join our team on a fixed-term contract basis for 12 months, this role will be working on a hybrid basis, with one to two days required at our Pencoed manufacturing facility.You’re new role:As aSenior Financial Analyst at QuidelOrtho, you will be reporting to the Finance Director providing financial and analytical support to QuidelOrtho UK Operations, and to wider finance communities. You will be responsible for managing your own workload and priorities to ensure the finance department meets its demanding schedule and delivers a strong business support service.What you’ll be doing:Producing timely management and financial information to aid management decisions.Establishing and developing business partnerships, and supporting functional leads in the areas of planning, control and decision making.Preparing annual budgets and business forecasts, evaluating business performance versus plans and targets and investigating variances.Calculating and maintaining standard product costs, Bill of Materials analysis.Calculating and maintaining monthly inventory figures and provisions.Year-end cost roll, including manufacturing standards and ICP updates.Reporting on manufacturing variances such as: Volumes, Material Variance Analysis, Purchase Price Variance and Scrap.Active participation in project and continuous improvement activities.Liaising with finance colleagues in the US and EMEA regions, to support and develop best practices.What you’ll need to succeed:University education and degree in Accounting or Finance required.Professionally Qualified Accountant Accreditation or Part Qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) is essential.Minimum 1-2 years’ related experience required.Previous manufacturing environment experience.The candidate must possess the ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization.
