The OpportunityAn enticing opportunity has arisen to join the established team at Craigmore Sustainables, as part of the Financial Services (FinCo) – Partnerships team, reporting to an experienced and supportive Financial Controller. This role would be well suited to someone looking to further their financial accounting career, playing a key role in providing informative, complete and compliant financial and management reporting, performance monitoring and monthly/annual planning that meets the needs and requirements of stakeholders. You will also have the opportunity to support the Financial Controller building on your broader commercial knowledge. The business operates under its core values which are; Understand tomorrow, act todayConnect and EmpowerDeliver with Integrity The Role Reporting into the Financial Controller– Financial Services team, your duties will include: Complete monthly and quarterly reporting to management and stakeholdersPreparation of the annual statutory financial statementsAssist with the management of the audit processAssist the Financial Controller with managing the processes and deliverables for annual budgeting and monthly forecasting of the PartnershipsAssist with regularly reviewing policies to ensure they are complete and robustContinuous improvement initiativesSupport stakeholders with questions and queries as they arise, responding in a timely mannerPreparation of income tax returns and any other tax obligations where requiredAdminister treasury cash-flow activities and ensure compliance with policies applicable to your area Your Profile CA or CPA qualifiedHave a strong technical background and be confident in your abilities to meet deadlinesA good knowledge of taxBe a good communicator who builds effective partnerships with colleagues and stakeholders alikeWant to be part of a growing business with an international presence in the primary industries sectorBe a confident user of Excel, with the ability to analyse and review financial information as requiredHold full, unrestricted working rights for New Zealand and be based in, or actively relocating to Christchurch Craigmore have engaged Profile Group exclusively to recruit this role, so for more information, please contact Tom Askham on 021 390 689
