Contact: ##### Description Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Officer on behalf of a School in Maidenhead. The postholder will be required for 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday) to support the Head of Finance and Finance Officers manage the school's budget, funding, and procurement process on behalf of the Headteacher and Governing Board (GB). They will also support the Head of Finance with the financial management planning and delivery for the school and with day-to-day finance-related operations.Main ResponsibilitiesSupport the Head of Finance in delivering the Financial Strategy for the schoolUndertake accounting tasks as delegated by the Head of FinanceUndertake procurement tasks and feasibility studies as requiredAct as the school's credit controllerDeal with queries form budget holdersSupport the Head of Finance in maximising income streamsSupport the Finance Officers with income and expenditure issues as requiredCandidate CriteriaPart Qualified Accountant or AAT Qualified with relevant PQEExperience of working within Schools Accounting is highly desirableExperience of advising and supporting budget holders with high-level financial analysis skillsGreat communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a teamIf you are interested in the role, or know of anyone who may be, please contact Greg at Service Care Solutions on 01772 208969 or email ##### Care Solutions also offers a £250 referral bonus!
