Senior Finance Officer

We are working with a School in Manchester to recruit a Senior Finance Officer (Term Time Only + 4 weeks). The role is paying £30,000 - £33,000 FTE + Local Government Pension Scheme.The school is based in Manchester, part of a Multi-Academy Trust. Their key values align to Teamwork, Ambition and Respect.Senior Finance Officer:Provide Financial Governance support.Support the Finance Business Partner with financial operations.Completion of credit card and bank reconciliations.Invoice processing.Document transactions for the school.Assist with the VAT return.Inputting accounting data into the PS Financial system.Support with the production of financial statements.Provide financial information for the month end process.Complete an income collection process for the school.Assist with cash-flow management.Senior Finance Officer:Ideally you will be AAT Qualified or working towards full qualification.A minimum of 2 years finance experience.Experience of finance administration is critical.Ideally, you will have worked in a School setting.Be flexible and immerse yourself into the school culture.PS Financial System experience would be advantageous.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.Basic knowledge of Excel.Ability to work with people at all levels within a school environment.Supportive, caring and trustworthy.An offer to this post would be subject to DBS and full reference checks.£30,000 - £33,000 FTE (Pro rata £27,000 - £30,000).Term Time Only + 4 weeks.Local Government Pension (employer contributes c16%).On-site at the Manchester school.37 hours per week.CPD Allowance, inclusive of study support package beyond probation period may also be considered.EA First Ltd are acting as an Employment Agency for this permanent vacancy.
