Type: Interim 6 months

Salary: �150 to �175 per day

Location: West Midlands

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Officer for our Local Authority client.

To provide support for non-treasury investment and treasury management services across the board in the financial administration field.

Key responsibilities for the Senior Finance Officer are;

• To support the banking and treasury management functions, including the capacity to offer cover to preserve resilience and continuity as needed by the service
• Serve as the suppliers point of contact
• Keep up with the lists of market, lending, and investment data. Data and performance reporting, both internally and to suppliers as needed
• Month end processes
• Working with external stakeholders
• Utilising a documented procedure to support the non-treasury investment process, including organisation, due diligence, and report writing
• Daily oversight of treasury and non-treasury loan administration, including interest computations, payment and repayment administration, and necessary invoicing.

The Ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Officer will have;

• NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification
• Treasury Management experience
• Local Authority experience
• Stakeholder Management experience
• Experience in a Finance Environment.
