Senior Finance O

RM Recruit are working with an amazing Alcester based organisation, who are seeking to hire a Senior Finance Officer preferably on a permanent basis, but are also open to considering candidates for a temporary role with a strong likelihood for it to transition into a permanent position. This role will see you support the Finance function in ensuring the effective running of the monthly management accounting process.

Main duties include, but not be limited to:

• Production of monthly management accounts for a group of clients, ensuring the month-end financial timetable is adhered to, analysing variances, and obtaining explanations to support financial data.


• Preparing budgets and forecasts for the schools.


• To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the post, participating in appropriate training activities.


• Preparing financial reports as required by the CFO/Head of Finance or other members of the finance team.


• Perform other duties as may be required from time to time.


• To work with due regard to confidentiality and the principles of Data Protection whilst encouraging others to do the same.


• The successful candidate will be subject to all pre-employment checks necessary to meet safer recruitment requirements, including an enhanced DBS check

The ideal candidate will be AAT level4 / Part-Qualified of equivalent and possess experience working in complex company environments. You will be a confident communicator who can forge relationships with a range of stakeholders. You will be able to demonstrate past experience of producing �management accounts and be able to efficiently work to tight deadlines.

This role consists of working full time onsite, with required travel to their other locations within the local area.
