Senior Finance Manager

Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeDirect message the job poster from Broster BuchananAn exciting and challenging role for a Big 4 trained accountant in a listed tech business.This client is looking for someone to join on an interim basis for a period of 12 months during a period of significant change and transformation.The role will be a balance of BAU finance and finance transformation.You will lead reporting and month end to ensure best in class service. The business is going through a significant business transformation and therefore, they require someone comfortable with day to day BAU technical reporting as well as complex post merger accounting and change support.Acting as number 2, the role holder will play a key role in supporting the preparation of financial statements for multiple ledgers covering our US business, as well as supervising, reviewing, and providing coaching for the broader team’s work.Job Responsibilities:Identify and support the stabilisation and enhancement of all activities undertaken by the team.Identify and drive process, system, and control improvements.Ensure accurate, timely and complete accounting transactions for our US businesses.Monthly close process and preparation of financial statements.Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.Oversee, prepare, and post journal entries.Review and prepare monthly account reconciliations.Job Requirements:Big 4 trained with strong technical accounting knowledgeDegree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.10 years + of professional accounting experience.Strong experience in driving process, data, and system efficienciesStrong influencing skills and the ability to work within a matrix environment.Experience in a process driven environment such as shared services or outsourcing.Advanced Excel skills.
