There are no formal or rigid ways of doing things, so opportunities to improve processes & procedures are always welcomed. Each member of the finance team has an opportunity to put their own personal stamp on things and senior management are always around to offer a helping hand.Acquisitions AccountingOwning the accounting of the Group’s many acquisitions under IFRS 3 Business Combinations and necessary disclosure in the Group and subsidiary financial statementsLiaising with Administrators and external advisors to ensure transactions are fully understood and documentedOwning and presenting the potential impact of acquisitions on the Frasers Group PLCfinancial statements to the Chief Accountant and Director of Finance to support the budgeting & forecasting processOwning the audit process of acquisitions, ensuring all appropriate documentation is provided to the auditors & queries answered in a timely mannerGroup Financial Statements (IFRS):Reviewing monthly Frasers Group PLCconsolidation, including analysis of variances to forecast & prior yearLiaising with External Auditors on audit queries during the year-end audit processSupporting the Chief Accountant with complex accounting areas, includingshare schemes, derivatives, and foreign subsidiaries.Property AccountingOwnership of the accounting of the Group’s property valuations and impairment accountingLiaising with internal and external advisors on valuations of properties to be included in the financial instruments and ensuring appropriate accounting in the Frasers Group PLCand subsidiary financial statementsReviewing forecasts and variances throughout the year in cooperation with the property teamOwn the audit process of property accounting ensuring all appropriate documentation is provided to the auditors & queries answered in a timely mannerQualificationsQualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, over 3 years post qualified.Good knowledge of FRS102 and IFRSExcellent Excel SkillsHighly motivated and able to meet deadlinesShows resilience in the face of change, able to work in a fast paced commercial environment where priorities are constantly changingLooking to grow a career with a global commercial businessAdditional InformationAn opportunity like this at Frasers Group is for the fearless.
