Sewell Wallis are partnering with a PE backed business in Stockport who are currently recruiting a Senior Finance Manager to join their team.

With ambitious growth plans and a number of acquisitions in the pipeline, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of a highly successful organisation.

Our client is looking for a fully qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA / ACA / ACCA and working closely with the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:-

  • Assisting with the management of the corporate accounting team
  • Presenting monthly and quarterly accounts to senior stakeholders
  • Running lease accounting and variance analysis of revenue to lease level
  • Group consolidations for new legal entities
  • Cash flow forecasting and treasury management
  • Dealing with tax queries
  • Providing financial support and guidance to non finance colleagues
  • Onboarding of new assets
  • Debt monitoring, management and compliance
  • Supporting the annual audit
  • Assisting to develop controls and the checking of data accuracy within the system
  • Providing support to the Financial Controller and Head of Financial Operations in ad-hoc projects
  • Assisting in the improvement and development of relevant and accurate management and accounting information delivered to the heads of departments
  • Developing an understanding of all areas of the ERP system and identifying opportunities and efficiencies that can be made within the system
  • Dealing with ad hoc queries

Requirements

  • Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA / CIMA / ACCA
  • Experience of working within the Property / Construction / Investment sector
  • Ambitious and driven individual who can work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to present financial analysis to senior stakeholders
