Senior Finance Manager - French speaking

SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE FOR FRENCH SPEAKING FINANCE MANAGER!
Leading global independent retail operator based in the North West with operations at over 5,600 sites across Continental Europe, the United Kingdom, North America and Australia is looking for a French speaking Senior Finance Manager . This is a permanent role within the accounting and finance team with some WFH flexibility.
ROLE of Senior Finance Manager:
* Taking ownership of all finance aspects of the category: costs, overheads, fixed assets, revenue
* Preparing of monthly management accounts and providing first input into monthly management accounts
* Presenting monthly numbers and providing senior management with concise and clear updates and ensure all issues are escalated in a timely manner
* Supporting the Financial Controller in ensuring strong month end controls and adherence to deadlines to support wider group reporting requirements
* Supporting the understanding and investigation of variance analysis relating to actuals vs budgets and forecasts and working closely with the commercial team
* Developing strong cross functional partnerships with across various departments (Fuel, Merchandising, Operations and Maintenance, Payroll, HR etc)
* Other adhoc projects and tasks as required
PROFILE of Senior Finance Manager:
* Fluent French and English with strong communication skills
* Previous experience as a Finance Manager, or a Senior Accountant, a Junior Finance Manager would be advantageous.
* Retail experience.
* CIMA/ACCA qualified or similar
* Experience of IFRS standards
* Strong analytical, Excel skills, SAP will be a plus
SALARY:
* £60 to £70k negotiable and according to skills and experience, plus bonus
