Job Title: Senior Finance Manager Location: Milton Keynes, HybridSalary: Circa £65,000 DOE plus 10% BonusContract Type: Permanent, full time 35 hours pw This would be an excellent opportunity for someone with strong audit practise experience, making a move from practise into industry.This role will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including line management of 2 direct reports, this will be inclusive of managing the regulatory and financial reporting for the consolidated Group and subsidiary companies and maintaining a high-quality financial control environment.This role will involve Managing the production of IFRS Group Statutory accounts and various subsidiary accounts under UK GAAP and you will be the be main point of contact for the Group’s auditors. Managing the preparation and submission of Group and Company returns. Ensure all listed company compliance requirements are met with Companies House etc. Responsibility for annual tax returns supporting the companies tax advisors. Responsibility for the Group’s consolidated and individual monthly management accounts.
Ensure suitable financial controls are in place in respect of signatories and sign off limits. Manage credit control, debtor and stock position of Group companies including any associated cash flow requirements as relevant. This is a hybrid role working in Milton Keynes, you will be working from home 2 days a week with 3 days in the office alongside a supportive team.What are we looking for?The job requires an excellent communicator allowing you to build credible, strong, trustworthy relationships across the business, this will allow you to influence stakeholders where necessary.You will be a strategic and creative thinker with the ability to perform well under pressure. Identifying and translating business requirements into tangible outcomes will be a fundamental prerequisite of the role. This will require you to be proactive, flexible and pragmatic in your approach to tasks.Required experience ACA, ACCA qualified accountant Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel (as a minimum proficient with SUMIF, VLOOKUP functions and Pivot Tables) Experience with audits and both financial and ERP systems Experience in preparing and submitting regulatory returns Experience in completing statutory accounts including consolidations and experience with both IFRS and UK GAAP Desirable experience 2+ years post qualification experience Experience in people management Experience with Sage 200, Navision and Salesforce Previous experience in the insurance or financial services is desirable Experience in listed or financial services audits No candidate will meet every single desired qualification.
