Senior Finance Business Partner - Technology

Our client, a leader in their field are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to support their Technology function for a 12 month period. The role will develop a strong working relationship between the Technology SLT and the finance team and establish the 3 year Technology business plan to support the strategy, Identifying cost drivers for Technology and setting up recharge mechanisms, Developing business cases and Optimising costs, particularly Cloud, to drive through efficiencies.The role will include:Collaborate with Technology leadership in the ownership and creation of rolling 12-month and 24 month forecast and 5-year Plan to support Technology project Planning and resource allocation including scenario analysis where required.Monitor Technology expenditure against budget, identifying variances and providing recommendations for cost optimisation.Working with Senior Management within FP&A to support the planning / budgeting process for BAU and project costs.Actively engage in development of underlying reports, processes, and systemsWork with the Projects business partners to appraise business cases for projects and provide analysis / recommendations to the Finance management.Track KPI's related to Technology expenses and communicate performance trends.Lead and conduct regular Service Reviews ensuring alignment and updates in status of key programs, roadmaps and operations.Develop a strong working relationship with the Technology leadership to understand their strategic goals and objectives.Collaborate on long-term financial strategies to align Technology investments with overall company goalsThe successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with strong experience of business partnering Technology teams specifically having supported a CIO/CTO previously.
