We are currently recruiting for a *Senior Field Trials Data Analyst (Cereals & Oilseeds Recommended Lists)* on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role works on a hybrid basis, two/three days from our HQ in Coventry and the remainder working remotely from home. A full UK driving is preferred as travel to the Peterborough area in May, August and November will be required for meetings.Read all the information about this opportunity carefully, then use the application button below to send your CV and application.Having responsibility for the data management of AHDB Recommended Lists (RL) field trials, including production of reports and publications, we are looking for a data driven individual with a high level of numeracy, data management and analytical ability with the added skills to manage a small team. A relevant degree in agriculture/biology or a statistical/data management discipline is also essential.At the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB), we inspire our farmers, growers and industry to succeed in a rapidly changing world. Working at AHDB, you wont just be helping our farmers produce the food we eat and look after our environment, you'll be helping to shape the future of food production and leaving a legacy for the next generation.*Responsibilities ** Supervision of RL trial workbook processing, analysis and upload activities to include trial plan generation, field trial site data, plot data, disease data and trial inspection preparation, along with managing annual audit and training of trial contractors* Management of harvest data processing, co-ordinating yield processing of RL and GB & NI Variety Lists (NL) trial data, uploading of data received from third parties and harvest results reporting, including the updating of online tools* Collation, analysis and presentation of RL trial and test data to produce tables for the consideration of RL committees and sub-committees* Production of publications associated with the RL in paper and digital formats* Management of RL data and material research requests, escalating more complex problems to line manager* Data support to other AHDB teams when required* Line management of a small team*Essential Criteria ** A BA/BSc. degree in agriculture/biology or a statistical/data management discipline, or relevant experience* A high level of numeracy, data management and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
