Are you an accomplished FF&E Designer with a number of fully completed superyacht projects?
SYR are supporting a leading UK design studio in the search for their next Senior FF&E Designer. Could you be our perfect candidate?
With a strong history of designing luxury vessels, this London studio have completed a host of exciting projects for demanding owners across the globe. An established team with a shared passion for top quality design, they now seek an FF&E expert to join the team.
Reporting into the Head of FF&E, the role will consist of the following duties:
– Attending meetings along with the interior design team to understand the client vision and intended style.
– Using your experience to both design and select FF&E items to be integrated into the overall design for client sign-off.
– Creation of mood boards and materials samples.
– 2D schematics for production.
– Building of an FF&E specification package, identifying key suppliers and working closely with procurement to ensure that items are sourced as required.
– Ensuring that FF&E involvement throughout the project remains seamless and in line with the requirements of the build.
– Final review and sign off where required.
Our ideal candidate will already have completed a number of high profile projects of over 70m and be confident in end to end management of yacht FF&E. You’ll come from a design background and be confident working as part of a wider interiors team and leading those more junior across complex projects. A continued eye for trends and a strong contact list across suitable product providers will be essential.
In turn, you’ll be joining a market leader and be asked to work across some incredible projects. A salary of around £50,000 per annum will be offered, along with an attractive selection of benefits and ongoing career development potential.
