List of responsibilities
The Facade Engineer forms part of the engineering team within the global structure of the company and
assumes general responsibilities that proactively contribute to the growth of Façade/Structural engineering
capabilities and all other disciplines across the globe.
This includes responsibility for all design, engineering, documentation, administration and compliance with
project constraints undertaken for Façade and all other disciplines. You will also need to fulfil legal responsibilities
commensurate with your position.
The following is an overview of the responsibilities and performance standards required of the Façade
Engineer:
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or Master's degree in Architecture (or 5-year equivalent)
Significant experience working in the construction industry
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to hand sketch for presentation purposes
Client and team-focused
Knowledge of relevant standards and codes for façades and services
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Planning and organisational skills
Be flexible to meet the varied demands of the role
You must have the right to work in the UK
