Enjoy flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working and flexitime, while being rewarded for your hard work with performance and Employee-Owned Trust bonuses.What The Senior Façade Engineer Will DoLead Projects: Take charge of projects, delivering high-quality technical designs.Create and Review Designs: Produce and review technical design documents, including drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports.Client Collaboration: Communicate effectively with clients, local authorities, and other design team members to ensure project briefs are met.Mentor Juniors: Guide and support junior team members, fostering their professional development.Conduct Site Inspections: Perform site inspections, document findings, and provide actionable recommendations.Drive Business Development: Contribute to bid and proposal preparations and help achieve business development targets.Innovate and Improve: Adhere to best practices while continuously seeking opportunities for self-development and innovation.Your Qualifications and SkillsEssential:HND/HNC in civil or structural engineering.Solid understanding of structural engineering and façade physics.Proficient in computer analysis of structures and design of various materials.Experience in briefing CAD technicians and managing projects.Strong organisational and time management skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Knowledge of British Standards/Eurocodes and CDM regulations.Preferred:University degree in civil or structural engineering.Professional qualifications with ICE or IStructE.Experience with SCIA and Tekla Building DesignerJoin a Progressive and Inclusive Team As an equal opportunities employer, this consultancy is dedicated to treating all employees and applicants fairly.
