Outstanding opportunity for a Senior Executive Search Consultant (Legal) to join a Global executive search boutique working on cross-border roles at the below partner level across the world.

Act as a leader and enabler to global law firms growing their businesses and represent senior lawyers looking to make transformational career moves overseas.
Flexible location: the current team is based across the UK so will consider UK-wide and other international locations given the firm operates on a global basis (either on a remote or hybrid basis which can be adaptable to the right individual).
We are pleased to bring to market this exclusive role for a Senior Legal Recruitment Consultant (Executive Search) to join a leading executive search business focused on international mandates.
The successful individual will work to identify and source the right lawyers at the Associate to Counsel level and to help the firm’s elite law firm clients achieve their business goals.
As Senior Executive Search Associate, International Legal Division, in a 360-degree desk, you will play a key role in the identification, engagement, and development of individual lawyers who wish to take their legal career overseas, and you will use your market intelligence to effect introductions on a contingent basis wherever in the world they wish to go.

Senior Executive Search Consultant Opportunity
Managing a 360-degree desk, placing legal professionals, and building relationships with new and existing clients
Managing the various stages of the search process (whether retained or contingent recruitment) to always ensure the highest quality execution and efficient delivery
Market mapping, whether identifying new clients or new candidates, with the support of the client’s Data Insights & Market Intelligence function
Identifying, attracting and headhunting lawyers who are seeking to make a move overseas whether into a new legal market or as part of a return home
Contacting potential candidates via the client’s CRM system, email, WhatsApp and LinkedIn Recruiter
Leading the qualification communication, whether headhunting calls and meetings with these candidates to get to know them; being mindful of their career objectives and personal circumstances given a move overseas often involves more complex logistics, immigration/visas, and moving family
Introducing candidates to prospective clients worldwide, and effectively managing the interview and offer stage process
Placing individuals and acting as an advisor to both candidates and clients.
Demonstrating excellence in client and candidate care. Cross-border processes are typically longer than domestic hires, therefore you will need to support with on-boarding and after-care once your candidates start their new roles overseas
Specific Requirements
Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years of legal recruitment experience with a cross-border component with no upper limit for this senior opportunity which can be shaped around the successful individual
Some legal education and background preferred, but not essential
A passion for delivering excellence when representing your clients and candidates
High attention to detail and a drive to succeed
An entrepreneurial mindset to enter new and perhaps unfamiliar legal markets, and ‘knock on doors’ for your candidate clients
A keen interest in the global legal landscape
Be comfortable getting to grips with legal markets that may be unfamiliar to you
A passion for people and engaging communication style
