Senior High Voltage Tendering Engineer - North Yorkshire
Salary: Circa £75,000 + mileage

With a healthy order book moving into 2026, they are seeking a Senior High Voltage Tendering Engineer to join their growing and successful team.
Responsibilities of the Senior High Voltage Tendering Engineer:
Assessment of bid opportunities leading to agreed bid / no-bid review including assessing key projects and client criteria
Assess and evaluate any risks and potential problems
Responsible for checking the accuracy and completeness of clients’ tender documents
Assist in the technical and estimating element of preparation of tender and quotations from specification and drawings within defined periods
In conjunction with Procurements, liaise with Sub-contractors and supplies to obtain the best available quotations
Review tender documentation and assess a project technically and be responsible for the overall estimate of cost based upon client specification and technical requirements
Produce formal handover documentation on accepted work. Attend handover meetings where required and explain project scope, estimate, clarifications and assumptions
Completion of all company procedure documents and financial information including database and tendering diary
Work alongside members of the Bid team in reviewing contract T&C’s ensuring suitable terms are referenced on all quotations
Criteria for the Senior High Voltage Tendering Engineer:
This role will suit a very technically minded individual, who has the ability to work under pressure and achieve challenging deadlines
HNC/HND in electrical engineering
Previous experience working on DNO/iDNO projects
Experience up to and including 33kV as a minimum, ideally with exposure at 132kV
Experienced Engineer with a proven track record in providing technical solutions and costing for an electrical and civil engineering environment of HV & LV installations and switchgear
