Senior Estimator

A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Senior Estimator for a permanent contract on behalf of our client based in Basildon.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed analysis of project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to accurately estimate costs for facade projects.
Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and ensure comprehensive understanding of project requirements.
Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals, adhering to established deadlines and budgetary constraints.
Utilize industry-leading software and methodologies to perform quantity take-offs, cost breakdowns, and risk assessments.
Evaluate potential risks and opportunities associated with each project, offering strategic recommendations to optimize outcomes.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and technological advancements to continuously improve estimation processes and enhance competitiveness.
Provide mentorship and guidance to estimators, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team.
Requirements:
Proven experience in facade estimation, with a minimum of 5years in a senior role.
