BAM Ritchies is seeking an enthusiastic geotechnical professional to join our work-winning team as a Senior Estimator. This role will involve working on a variety of projects, from complex major projects to small-scale ground engineering jobs, providing ample opportunities for problem-solving, learning, and growth in the field.
Your Responsibilities
Take ownership of opportunities from enquiry receipt to handover with the delivery team
Collaborate with in-house engineering and delivery teams to develop tender proposals
Participate in Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) stages of prospective projects
Coordinate design on Design & Build (D&B) contracts
Estimate works and produce winning tender submissions
Present geotechnical solutions to potential clients
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
5+ years experience in specialist ground engineering
Solid understanding of geotechnical principles
Previous experience in estimating piling, slope stabilisation, ground anchoring, and grouting packages
Ability to manage time efficiently and work to deadlines
Strong communication skills
Experience in estimating from first principles
