Senior Consultant - UK Civil Engineering James Gray Recruitment are actively seeking a Senior Estimator on behalf of one of our key clients who are an established contractor in the Civil Engineering and Railsector in Scotland.Our client:The client is a leading Contractoroperating primarily within construction and infrastructure schemes;With a responsible sustainability strategy, they invest significant time and effort to ensure safe working environments with minimal environmental impact;Projects range from Rail, Car parks, Bridges, Roads etc, ranging up to £5m;Due to on-going and future pending contracts, this is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the Scotland's most reputablecontractors and get exposure to interesting and prestigious projects.What you’ll be doing:You will be working with a small existing team in this permanent role based in Glasgowpricing Rail and Civils worksprojects;Manage the tender from allocation to award including carrying out take offs and tender review meetings;Prepare technical queries and send to the Client to seek clarification.What you need to be successful:You will have a minimum HNC within civil engineering or quantity surveying or relevant field;At least 5 years’ experience as a Estimator;Previous civil engineering experience essential, Railexperience highly desirable.What’s in it for you:A salary of up to £65,000 DOE;Benefits include, Car / Car Allowance andpensionExcellent experience working with a leading contractor to progress your career.What you need to do next:Please hit the APPLY NOW button to send your CV to James Brodie at James Gray Recruitment.
