Job Title: Senior Estimator

Location: Central London

Package: £85,000 - £95,000 plus car allowance and bonus

Skilled Careers are working with a High-End Residential Main Contractor who due to an incredible amount of work winning they are looking for a Senior Estimator to join the team.

The Senior Estimator would be working on either a High-End Residential New Build, Refurbishment or Fit-Out Project valued from £5m up to £50m+ in Central London.

Duties

• Work on High-End Residential New Build, Refurbishments & Fit-Out Projects in the heart of London.


• Leading on relevant tenders, process and resources with a high degree of commercial acumen and skill


• Identify opportunities to add value and to mitigate against risks / consider solutions throughout the project process


• Ensure monitoring of the tender process is in place for all tenders and report on progress via estimating plan


• Lead the pricing process and promote integration of disciplines through accurate reporting and regular internal communication and feedback on relevant tenders


• To lead the supply chain enquiry process


• Proactively maintain the cost base by assisting with latest quotations, framework rates – controlling costs, timing and quality in line with specified targets


• To produce a detailed control document to handover to the delivery team


• Working collaboratively and communicating effectively with other areas of the Construction business to provide exceptional support


• To work to the Company’s Quality, Environmental and Safety Management System standards and performance criteria including delivering the objectives set


• To co-operate on matters of health and safety and follow the training provided. To take reasonable care of personal and other’s health and safety at all times


• Any other duties consistent with the role of Estimator as may be required from time to time.

Requirements

• An Estimator/ Senior Estimator who has experience working for a UK High-End Residential Main Contractor.


• High-End Residential New Build experience.


• Someone has the ambitions to progress.
