Senior Estimator

Fawkes & Reece South are working with a main contractor that works in collaboration with private client on various infrastructure projects as part of frameworks and individually across England. Some of their frameworks are located in Somerset, Dorset, Hampshire, London, Gloucestershire, Sussex, Berkshire & Devon etc. Individual projects can be worth between �20m and �400m with a scope of works that includes road construction, highways, earthworks, drainage, culverts and rivers works etc.

As a Senior Estimator you will achieve targets and secure profitable work through competitive tendering of bid for projects. In your role, your duties will include (but not limited to) :

• Registration, control and administration of tender documentation
  
• Completing take offs from drawings
  
• Compiling a tenderbook for internal reviews and settlement
  
• Preparing and managing of tenders from initial receipt through to delivery
  
• Liaising with supply chain teams in relation to supplier and subcontractor enquiries
  
• Preparing tender submission documents and estimating reports
  
• Assisting in proposal and contract management functions
  

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

Solid understanding of first principles

Experience tendering on civil engineering projects

Previously worked as an Estimator or a Senior Estimator for a main contractor

Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
