Senior Estimator

Astute's Renewables team is exclusively partnering with an ICP specialising in LV & HV design and implementations projects to recruit a Electrical Estimator for its Swindon site.

The Senior Estimator position comes with a salary to �60,000, pension, flexible working with 1-2 days a week in the office (maybe less), and is critical to the continues growth of the estimation department which is expected to double over the next 2 years!

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Head of Estimation you will:

• Manage tender approval (both basic and detailed), several �100,000 of value, prior to being submitted to clients.
• Preparation of tenders for new projects and maintenance contracts.
• Be leading the estimation team and maintain deadlines, allocation of works, and advise on issues.
• Drive performance and cost-effective solutions.
• Manage internal team processes and compliance.
• Identification of knowledge gaps and personal development chances for your team.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Electrically qualified is a bonus.

Personal skills

The Senior Estimator role would suit someone who is:

• Experienced in an Estimation Management position (supervisory or manager level) or Senior/Lead Estimation role.
• Detail orientated
• Knowledgeable in HV/LV electrical distribution markets.
• Experience of tendering for O&M / Private Network contracts (beneficial)
