Senior Equity Analyst, Japan

Our client, a global highly regarded Asset Manager is looking to hire a Japan Equity Analyst on the global developed markets desk. This position will be responsible for undertaking fundamental research on companies listed in Japan as part of the Global Equity universe.Key responsibilities:Conduct high quality fundamental analysis on Japanese stocksProduce high conviction investment recommendations that will contribute to relative outperformance over a 5 year periodOngoing monitoring of companies under coverage, ensuring up to date knowledge, modelling and forecastingContribute to investment performance through stock idea generationSignificant input into portfolio construction by monitoring stock price and fundamental developmentsCandidate Profile:Relevant equity research experience on the buy or sell-sideExperience covering Japanese equity marketsDegree educatedHigh attention to detail and risk awarenessComprehensive understanding of fundamental analysis and valuation techniquesMason Blake is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications regardless of sex, marital status, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, religious belief or age.Apply for this job
