Senior Equity Analyst, Global Emerging MarketsJob detailsLocationLondonDate Posted1 November 2020CategoryInvestmentJob TypePermanentJob IDCompetitiveDescriptionOur client is a well-established global asset manager looking to recruit an Equity Analyst within the top performing global emerging markets fund.The role will be responsible for analysing potential investment opportunities in Emerging Markets with an emphasis on Latin America.Key responsibilities:Conduct analysis on companies in Emerging Markets with an emphasis on Latin American companies, with a view to make investment recommendations to the Portfolio ManagerMaking investment recommendations to Portfolio Manager at stock and country levelProvide detailed and insightful reports and financial models on potential investmentsDevelop a detailed understanding of broader macro issues in the region; evaluate economic and political conditions that impact companies on coverage and sectorsInvestigate Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) factorsUndertake investment trips to Latin America to attend management meetings and perform site visitsParticipate in wider investment committee meetings, presenting on stocks, sectors and countries under coverageCandidate Requirements:6-10 years relevant experience as an Equity Analyst covering Emerging Markets with preferably some experience covering Latin AmericaEducated to degree level with a 2:1 classificationIdeally CFA qualificationDeep passion for markets, investing and businessTeam playerAbility to work independently and show strong initiativeMason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
