will
the role look like?The Senior
Environmental
Advisor
will
be
responsible
for
implementing
strategy, driving
innovation
and providing
environmental
assurance across two
innovative
projects in the Oxford area. The Senior
Environmental
Advisor
will
have the drive to provide
environmental
assurance and technical
capabilities
to
support
project
leaders and the
delivery
teams from
pre-construction
through to completion and handover.What skills & experience are we looking for?Implement the business
environmental
sustainability
strategy and
support
project
teams in
developing
this Support
in the provision of advice or technical solutions so that the latest
developments
and
innovations
in permanent and
temporary
works are
considered
during the design phase and then
implemented
through constructionProvide early advice and direct help to the
project , clients and contractors to assist
with
the
resolution
of any
significant
environmental
challenges Early “hands-on”
engagement
to deliver processes and procedures (EMS and EnMS)Engage
with
supply chain and
Procurement
functions to maximise
environmental
sustainability
benefits and meet client
requirements Ensure the
project
complies
with
environmental
legislation
and minimise potential risksPromote the reduction of energy use and carbon emissions and the
implementation
of waste reduction and managing
with
leannessMonitor and measure
environmental
performance, and undertake inspections or audits of the projectsSetting standards and ensuring compliance by carrying out site audits and inspection Statistical
