For more information, visit www.lumentum.com..We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to oversee and enhance our EHS programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies, promoting a culture of safety within the workplace, and implementing strategies to minimize risks related to health, safety, and environmental impacts.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS policies and procedures in line with UK legislation and company standards.Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.Lead internal audits and prepare for external audits to ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant standards.Manage and coordinate emergency response plans and procedures, including training staff on emergency preparedness.Analyze accident and incident reports to identify patterns and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Liaise with regulatory agencies and other external stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.Develop and deliver EHS training programs to all levels of staff, fostering a culture of safety and awareness throughout the organization.Oversee the management of hazardous materials, including waste disposal and recycling programs.Prepare and manage the EHS budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support EHS initiatives.Provide leadership and direction to the EHS team, setting objectives, and evaluating performance.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification relevant to the UK.Minimum of 10 years of experience in EHS management.Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting (cleanroom manufacturing or an electronics background is preferred)Comprehensive knowledge of UK environmental, health, and safety legislation.Experience and knowledge of EHS management systems such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Formal lead auditor qualifications in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is preferred.Proven track record of improving EHS performance and culture in a manufacturing setting.Demonstrated leadership and teamwork collaboration in professional settings.Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent computer and information technology skills, including MS Office applications, MS SharePoint, Box, or similar applications.Please contact me for further information
