They have the need for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager from a vehicle manufacturing or aviation background to oversee a large team of skilled electrical engineers.What you'll do Support the head of vehicle systems with associated tasks related to the roleWork closely with the Product Development Director and the project management team on project key milestones.Liaise with the production department to optimise design and New Product Introductions (NPI).Improve the standards of engineering and ensure that engineering designs are robust and properly validated.Ensure engineering practices and activities comply fully with company Quality Management Systems (QMS) processes.To ensure all Safety Critical Processes are followed during the design stage and to support the Product Safety Committee with in-service support.Co-ordinate new option development for production contract planning and current design.Work with the Electrical, Manufacturing and Homologation teams to ensure consistence of design by maintaining strong lines of communication.Ensure work is completed to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.
