What you’ll be doing:
Ocean Interfaces is a delivery team within SSNA, it rises to the global challenges and delivers design solutions for deployable assets on the future attack nuclear submarine. We design, procure, and manufacture solutions by working closely with our customers and suppliers. In this role you will;
Lead a team to deliver design solutions for deployable assets on the future attack nuclear submarine
Manage relationships with key stakeholders
Drive out uncertainties
Report risk so programme outcomes can be managed
Establish processes to meet strategic objectives
Provide knowledge and guidance to teams of engineers, procurement, and project professionals as part of an IDT
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Chartered Engineer or equivalent
Complex engineering background
Proven delivery of complex engineering projects
Understanding and application of design life cycle for complex projects
Proven leadership skills

The Ocean Interfaces Team:
SSNA is becoming a truly global endeavor with the AUKUS coming alive. We are quickly moving towards maturing designs and ordering long lead items so now is the time to make a change. We are a relatively new team to the submarines enterprise and have a key role in shaping key strategic deliverables and new insertion of technology into future global nuclear submarines.
