Senior Engineer

A well-established and growing food company based in the Northallerton Area is looking for anexperienced Electrical biased Senior Engineer to join the business. Thesuccessful Senior Engineer will be responsible for: Carry out reactive and proactive maintenance of site machinery, equipment and systems to minimise downtime, optimise performance and maximise safetyDaily completion of the Engineering work logEnsure work orders are completed to a high standard within the required time scaleCarry out PPM work in accordance to the monthly scheduleMaintain high standards of Good Manufacturing PracticePLC fault finding and programmingPanel buildingWork within all Technical, Health and Safety and Hygiene procedures at all timesEffectively and efficiently source and use resources, including spare parts, consumables and equipmentCoach and mentor the apprentices and semi-skilled members of the engineering team In return, thesuccessful Maintenance Engineer will be part of a business that recognises talent and skill and will always promote from within where possible. As Senior Engineer you will be working a 4 on/4 off shift pattern with a mix of days and nights.
We would love to see your CV if you are a Maintenance Engineer with the following:Qualified to preferably HNC/HND but will consider NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC mechanical/electrical, BTEC level 3 in mechanical & electrical/electronic engineering)A proven track record in an engineering and fault-finding role gained from a FMCG environment (ideally the food industry).A good understanding of HACCP principles and ideally IEE qualification (17thor 18thedition wiring regulations).Has excellent analytical, planning & organising skills
