Role: Senior Engineer

Company: Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor

Day Rate: �350 - �400 PAYE or Ltd

Location: Chesterfield, Derbyshire

Randstad are currently looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to work with a Tier 1 Contractor on a Highways scheme in Chesterfield.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to coordinate construction activities and resolve any technical issues.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement or optimisation
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including site reports, progress updates, and as-built drawings
• Provide technical guidance and support to site staff, facilitating effective communication and teamwork throughout the project life cycle.

Qualifications:

• Degree qualified or other relevant qualification
• SMSTS (Preferred)
• CSCS Card
• Highways experience
