Senior Engineer

Our client is thriving in the public sector, and leads with an adept in-house team proficient in diverse property functions. From civil engineering to project management, they excel across a spectrum of services, including contract management, surveying, asset management, and planning.

Our client is looking for a senior engineer specialising in structures, you will assist in the collection, assessment, and importation of information essential to successful scheme preparation and implementation processes. You will prepare technical design and contract documents, liaise with relevant bodies, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the collection, assessment, and importation of information for successful scheme preparation and implementation.
• Prepare or assist in the preparation of technical design and contract documents.
• Liaise with relevant bodies, including contractors and public utilities, as required.
• Work with due regard to health and safety and issues related to sustainability.

You will need:

• Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers or Institution of Structural Engineers.
• RQF Level 4-7 in a relevant engineering field.
• Experienced user of Finite Element and Grillage software packages, e.g., LUSAS and ENCAD.
• Experienced in undertaking bridge inspections in accordance with the Inspection Manual for Highway Structures.
