Our commitment to a flexible and hybrid working cultureRequired Expertise/Skillset(s)Specialises in one or more areas of systems and equipment relevant to role such as RF systems, DVB, Analogue Radio, DAB, Microwaves, Sat Comms, Data Networks, Telecoms etc.;Significant experience of maintenance and fault resolution on complex media systemsExtensive knowledge and experience in the techniques and applications of computer network systems, Ethernet and IP technology, network components, server systems, virtualisation and remote access technologyComprehensive knowledge of and able to apply Safety, Health and Environment legislation, policies and proceduresAble to conduct complex measurements, evaluate results and take appropriate actionSignificant knowledge and experience in the techniques and applications of computer network systemsKey Responsibilities / The RoleComplete planned works and maintenance on the full range of systems and networks within the operating environment, providing leadership and guidance to upgrades and modificationsRespond to faults and service outages and complete corrective maintenance in line with Arqiva standards, policies and proceduresProvide technical guidance to projects and support installation, commissioning work and transition into serviceMaintain accurate records, documentation and reporting of actions takenComplete testing and measurement to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry and customer requirementsProvide technical leadership within the team, sharing knowledge and skills and providing mentoring support to engineers and techniciansProduce work instructions and other appropriate tools and materials to support service and technical deliveryContribute to the continuous improvement of operating policies, processes and proceduresEngage with customers and build positive working relationshipsSupervise the delivery of 3rd party suppliers and contractors to ensure that specifications and standards meet Arqiva requirementsWhere required assist in the management of the engineering team including planning and supervision of the teamGenerate maximum team efficiency through delivering bundled activities within skillsetSeek to upskill / develop to enable maximum benefit of preventing other truck rolls to siteAct as an escalation point for the Field engineer team on complex queries/issuesWhy join Arqiva?
