Job title: Senior Engineer - HVAC/LEVLocation:Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this roleSalary:£39,000+ depending on skills and experience What you'll be doing:Review design proposals from external contractors and consultants for new and refurbished HVAC and LEV installations to ensure compliance with current legislation, regulations and site standardsProvide advice/guidance/recommendations to the wider business on HVAC/LEV issuesWork with site Engineering Authorities to assess operations on site and ensure LEV systems are fully compliant with regulationsPreparation of technical reports and documentation to support new HVAC and LEV installations on siteDefine requirements for HVAC and LEV systems in conjunctions with end usersSupport Principal Engineers with the production and update of site engineering standards for HVAC and LEV systemsEnsure that all new and modified assets are compliant with relevant current standards and meet stakeholder requirementsAssist project teams to review installations and commissioning of new and modified assets where discipline knowledge is required Your skills and experiences:HNC/HND qualified in Business Services EngineeringBritish Occupational Health Society P601 course in LEVRegistered with an engineering professional institute, Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) or IMechE and working towards chartered statusAround 5 years Design or installation background in HVAC/LEC related experience with a consultant or contractorBenefits:You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave incentive and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The main purpose of the team is to set site engineering standards and requirements for equipment/systems/facilities in accordance with legislation and process.
