Senior Engineer - EDS

An exciting opportunity at a well-established automotive company are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. Based in Leicestershire, this company is a leading automotive manufacturer.

As Senior Engineer will you be responsible for:

• Design and Development of whole vehicle electrical distribution systems and harnesses.
• Advising the mechanical chassis team on the layout of wiring harnesses and associated electrical systems.
• Reading and making changes to circuit drawings.
• Design changes to harnesses, electrical hardware architecture, relays, fuses, and wire sizes.
• Interpretation of electrical drawings and specifications within the EDS designs.

The successful Senior Engineer will have:

• Proven experience as an electrical or electronic engineer.
• Qualified to degree level in either PhD, MSc, MA, MEng, BA, BEng or BSc in electrical or electronic engineering.
• Experience in the design and development of electrical systems and automotive OEM projects.
• Experience with Vesys 2.0
• Knowledge of CAN communication such as CANalyser or CANoe.
