To ensure McLaren Automotive continues its desire to be “the sportscar company”, we are looking for a Senior Body Control Software Engineer to join our team.
Principal Accountabilities
Reporting to the Principal Body Control Software Engineer, the Senior Body Control Software Engineer will work on all aspects to define, design and deliver Body control functions including requirements, interfaces and algorithms.
Implement control functions in MATLAB Simulink/Stateflow
C-code generation and analysis
Conduct SW components testing using MIL and SIL techniques
Testing SW components within the system on the HIL
SW components verification & validation against requirements
Lead technical discussions with suppliers
Work cross-functionally to deliver software components
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Degree level education in a relevant Engineering discipline – mechanical, automotive etc.
Model-based, auto-coded software prototyping and production implementation
Support vehicle software testing and calibration
Excellent control theory background
Excellent knowledge of body electronic control and calibration
Good knowledge of Body systems at System Architecture Level
Software requirements capture and detailed software design into specifications
Model-based control software development and verification
AUTOSAR software components generation and integration
Verification testing in MIL, SIL and HIL environments, and in-vehicle integration
Compliance to industry standards such as ISO26262 and ASPICEDemonstrative experience in the automotive sector
